ALASKA HOUSE MAJORITY SEAL

JUNEAU – The Alaska House Majority passed House Bill 341 (HB 341), which would officially name the Galena Department of Transportation’s Maintenance and Operation Station after the late Marvin Thurmond.

Marvin Thurmond, a dedicated employee, and a cherished member of the Galena community, is set to be forever remembered with the station’s new moniker, the “Marvin Thurmond Galena Maintenance and Operation Station.”
